The objects for which the Club is established are:

To promote honorable practice and foster ethical standards of the profession.

To encourage the study of journalism and for that purpose to establish literary circles, centres and institutions and, from time to time, arrange lectures and discussions.

To establish maintain and conduct a Club for the use and benefit of accommodation of the members of the Club and their friends, and generally to afford to members and their friends all the usual privileges, advantages, conveniences and accommodation of a Club.

To provide a club-house and other conveniences and to furnish and maintain the same and generally to provide means of social and friendly interaction among the members.
